Why Moore Stephens
The firm has been established for over 100 years and has over 1,500 partners and staff with 39 offices in the United Kingdom. We are registered to carry on audit work and regulated for a range of investment business activities by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
As an additional element, each of our Advisory team members are individually and professionally qualified in their own disciplines as Accountants, Bankers etc and each of the team members are also SBS and Business Link West Midlands accredited.
On the monitoring side, we have a dedicated Administration team who have professionally managed the reporting and management information requirements and statistics to support the Programme work that the team has been delivering over many years. This has included the Mustard Programme since 2000, the New Growth Programme for Walsall MBC for a seven-year period and other Business Link and TEC supported initiatives in the 1990’s.
We have extensive experience in one to one consultancy and diagnosis whilst being the lead delivery Contractor on the Mustard programme since 2000. As part of that Programme delivery, identifying and providing an R2I solution to successfully access finance for clients has been a cornerstone of the overall total assignment focus. Assisting BME clients as part of that activity has formed an important element.
We have developed a successful methodology of working with clients (including BME clients) over recent years whereby our success rate is second to none.
On the basis of our extensive team who have wide ranging skills in accessing finance from grants to loans to SFLGS and Equity, we are able to select the right consultant with sector expertise wherever possible, to ensure a successful outcome.
In recent years our knowledge and expertise has assisted a range of clients to successfully claim grants approaching in excess of £3,000,000. The majority of such successful support has been the utilisation of RSA and GBI (Grant for Business Investment, formerly called SFIE).
