Consultants are heaven sent
February 2007: Two Staffordshire based start-up organisations have just been through the Mustard.uk.com experience and are extolling the virtues of taking business advice.
Entrepreneur Indy Singh established Trojan Ink Ltd in Newcastle Under Lyme, to sell compatible ink cartridges via convenience stores. His Mustard project included a detailed marketing and sales strategy, building a list of retail targets and extensive market research. Mr Singh said that the project “had redirected his business model towards a more affordable structure in the competitive arena he is entering”. He was extremely pleased with the outcome of the project adding that that the Moore Stephens advisor was a ‘God send’.
Anjali Moss of Stone, saw the need for a stylish home organiser that would aid the planning of appointments, shopping, household duties and family activities and get some order into the lives of busy working families. Moore Stephens were able to use the Mustard initiative to create a marketing strategy and research brand development for A Little Organisation. Anjali was initially sceptical of how consultancy could help but commenting at conclusion of the project she said, “I now understand how consulting adds value”.
Leading the Moore Stephens Advisory team is David Lynch who commented, “We are absolutely delighted to be associated with Anjali and Indy and pleased to be helpful to them both as they develop their businesses. We wish them every success”.
